Headed to the Lake? Easy Beach Hair How-To

If you are looking for a fun hairstyle to rock at the lake this weekend, look no further! In Minnesota it’s best not to battle Mother Nature when the humidity is this brutal. We’ve assembled a how-to on getting sexy beach hair the easy way. This ‘do is super easy and will play up your natural texture.

1. Dampen your hair lightly and work Brocato Mousse Volumizing Foam from roots to tips. Section your hair into six pieces and loosely braid. Spriz each braid lightly with from roots to tips with Brocato Moveable Hold Hairspray.

2. Let hair air dry for 30 minutes, or blast with a blow dryer until dry on hot, then add a blast of cold air at the end for extra shine.

3. Gently loosen the braids and use your fingers to style. Use the Moveable Hold Hairspray to secure any fly-aways and seal in style. If you want to add extra wave, you can use a crimper or curler to add extra volume around the face.

Viola, you are ready for the beach!

We have seen bleached fluorescent color trends in blogs this week from both Nylon and Vogue magazines. The trend is influenced from DIY street style from London & New York, but has lately crossed over into popular fashion circles.

Nylon precautions readers from trying these heavily distressed bleach jobs at home. Bleach can cause extreme breakage and frizz, and in some cases burn your scalp if improperly applied.
